Musica legale gratis? Sì, con downlovers (leggi l'opinione)
fresh The amazing web service that has devastated the landscape in one fell swoop the online music :
Downlovers.it (http://www . downlovers.it / ) , has raised many concerns in Internet browsers:
is it really possible to offer free songs by famous artists? Yes, you can: do it in exchange for an advertisement, to use the service There are no geographical limitations: you must have an IP address to the Italian city 'of the Vatican or San Marino. I am writing to
Downlovers.it some time ago. I must say that I was not altogether bad. A song is downloaded in about 30 seconds and then you download an entire album more or less in 5 minutes. The biggest annoyance is the DRM, although lately the site has begun to catalog a number of DRM-free MP3. Considering that there are many albums in our catalog, if not the entire discographies of artists such as Vasco Rossi, U2, Irene Grandi and Elisa seems a good thing. Sure, the service is better but good start ....
Tgcom interviewed Usuelli Richard, general manager of Downlovers .
The first question is simple, what Downlovers? "Downlovers is a portal that allows you to legally download music files to high quality, completely free, easy and safe."
Can you explain how it works? "Simply register at the site, filling out a simple form. So far everything is
clear. But how do users get the audio files for free? "Simple. We have reached agreements with record companies and partner companies supporting the initiative. While downloading the video player tunes on the transmission of an advertisement of 30 seconds: that which appears in the video is the industry partner. " In this way, then everyone will benefit? "Exactly. The user has the ability to "download" quality music in a legal and free, record labels are paid for by revenues from the localzione of advertising on the site and the partner companies are a safe target for their products. Downlovers, in fact, is a new online media, which involves the public more youthful. " need to install any software to download music? "Absolutely not. The music is stored online, on our website. Nonserve any software. "The e-mail, once registered, will be invaded by spam mail or advertising?" Users with the registration Downlovers also subscribe to sign up for a newsletter that regularly update users on new music out on our website. These newsletters will be sponsored by our partners. " So you offer a service, the musical, in exchange for advertising. At the end is the same system adopted by the commercial television? 'Yes' is the same thing. In the end, and agrees with everyone. "
A big step forward against piracy? "We are delighted that Luca Vespignani, secretary general of FPM - Federation Against Music Piracy - Downlovers consider as the key to the final statement of the legal digital market." There are restrictions on the reproduction of audio files downloaded? "No limit on reproducibility. Each download provides licenses for up to five different computers and March are also included songs without DRM (Microsoft Windows Media Digital Rights Management), so that will make the files compatible with Apple player and other audio devices. " How did this idea? "Downlovers is a technological project, born in Italy without a strong team behind him. In the U.S. there are other examples, as in Britain to Peter Gabriel, even though the project of the singer is more niche, more tied to the kind of music produced by former Genesis. The idea began to circulate about a year ago, then in September we were able to go online. "And in just five and a half months, you are able to reach important numbers ..."
