flocke to separate from his goal, are now only the small group of mysterious candidates on the one hand, and the prodigal son Widmore and his men on the other, on small isolated Hydra and in search of who knows what exactly. does not appear that these two groups represent a real concern for the evil incarnate. His moves, calculated at retail insinuate their plots from each other and rivals without delay and without error.
Instead, there is one individual that Flock seems to really fear: the mysterious blond child, the newest of the "mysteries" dell'Isola, forse fra gli ultimi che avranno una risposta.
E Jacob? Una sorta di divinità, di certo potente almeno quanto la sua nemesi, can die so easily? Strange. Perhaps you could die, yes, but to regenerate. He is opposed to the birth, continuity of life, the transformation - the water. Much more credible, then, that his body, death, rebirth immediately.
And why should not just be that baby, so similar to Jacob colors, features, expression serious and solemn, and severe seraphic?
would not be so far-fetched at the bottom: Jacob died a few days, according to the time marked by day and by night. But we know that, on the island, the passage of time following the unexplained irregularities. All the more so if we think, in this case, a sort god we've seen never get old for centuries. If within 24 hours the child has grown so dramatically, it's not hard to believe that in the previous hours, starting from the stabbing of Ben, is reborn from its own ashes, or generated from the island itself, a new Jacob, and is growing at a rate (for us) giddy.
And this explains the fears of Flock, that every time enter into anxiety when he sees that child at the time has smoothed the way, but not for long. His time is a countdown, because the child is returning adult, and when it will resume its mature form, the game will not be as one way to the old nemesis Jacob. It is no coincidence that Flock, in the early stages of his plan, cheeks James & Co. in hurry to gain advantage , and then not clear who or what. It is no coincidence that tells Desmond to ignore the child, to lose no time, not to let him speak, not to be told what they can and can not do.
that the child is Jacob or the incarnation of the island, it should be noted another detail: the first appearance, is not seen by Richard, but is seen by James. Strange. The second, is seen by Desmond without problems. What does this mean? The first two present, we know that James is a candidate, and not Richard. That the child is visible only to candidates? Were the case, we would have proof that Desmond is also a candidate, perhaps that mysterious Wallace. Were so, we would have even a clue as to believe that this child is just that Jacob returns. Cyclically. Because everything will end once.
