Il film ruota intorno al fatto che una giornata come tante possa trasformarsi in un incubo. Che in un momento " Will have you sitting on the brink of eternity ". Che un banale errore è in grado di scatenare spropositate reazioni a catena. Che, nostante si creda di poter contenere determinate situazioni, l'unica via di salvezza è quella di sacrificare, sacrificarsi in nome di un bene superiore.
